My first 1/2 Marathon. Didn't go as planned. I injured my gluteus maximus and really struggled with the last half of the race, but I finished with a lot of walking and earned my first medal. The best way for me to look at this is that I have practically guaranteed that my next 1/2 will be another PR. Now to look for another one to run once I heal up.
